SENIORS, your books must be back and all library fines paid before you can get signed off to graduate!   Do not return textbooks and library books to your teacher.  Bring them directly to the library.

Arch Bearers, Flower Gals, and Program Attendants packets need to be turned in today, May 25th

Prom Pictures are in.  You can pick them up in the SHS main office before school, after school, and during lunches.

We will be offering a summer school program this August for 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.  The program will be for 4 weeks Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon each day.  Please contact your counselor for more information.  There are a limited number of seats for this program.  It is for SHS and LHHS.

Smash Bros will take place today during 1st and 2nd lunch in the Commons. No pre-signups; just come and sign in and play! Game play will be today during both lunches.

Next week we will be on a modified bell schedule because of Science testing for 11th graders on Tuesday May 29th.  Ninth, Tenth, & Eleventh grades should arrive at the regular time and Twelfth grade can arrive for 1st period at 11:05 am., on Tuesday May 29th.

The 9th grade class will have a group photo taken on Tuesday, May 29th in the morning.  This will take place while the Juniors are taking their Science test.  9th Grade students should arrive by 7:40 a.m.

                                                             

Drivers Ed Summer Session starts on Tuesday, May 29th.

No School On Monday, May 28th.  Memorial Day observed.

Do you want to be a part of the Robotic Team?  If you enjoy designing, building, and programming robots then join the Robotic Club.  Come to the student/parent meeting on MONDAY, JUNE 11th at 6:30 p.m. in room 202.  Woodinville robotic team will be here to share their experience and demonstrate their robots.

Don’t forget the SHS Choir invite show today, May 24th in the PAC during 2nd period.

There will be a player/parent Girls Basketball meeting today, May 24th @ 7:30 pm in the main gym to meet the new Lead Coach.  Incoming Freshmen and their parents are invited to attend.

State Math Testing today, May 22nd.  No Bells. Today we will have 4th, 5th & 6th periods.

The SHS Spring Choir Concert, entitled "Number One Hits" will be tomorrow, May 23rd at 7pm in the SHS PAC.  There will also be an invite Choir show on Thursday May 24th in the PAC during 2nd period.

Attention potential Cheerleaders:  Cheer packets are now available in the Athletic Office.  If you have already picked up a packet, please come back to see Mrs. Wark at  lunch time TODAY!

Spring musical Fiddler on the Roof will be presented this weekend, March 8, 9, and 10.  Tickets are $8.00 for students and $9 for adults. The play is at 7:00 p.m. in the SHS performing arts center.

Practice for Macho Volleyball today, March 8th, at 7:00pm till 8:00pm in the Main Gym.  Tournament will be on the night of Tuesday, March 13th. 

FREE Choir Concert Thursday March 15th at 7pm in the PAC.

2018 Congressional Art Competition. The U.S. House of Representatives holds the nationwide high school visual art competition to encourage and recognize artistic talent in each Congressional district.  The winning entry will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, and the winning artist will receive two free plane tickets to Washington, D.C. to attend a reception with other winners from across the country.  Entries must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27.  For more information contact Laura Gelwicks at 425-252-3188.

Baseball Jamboree Today, 4:00 p.m. Leaving 1:30 p.m.

Attention FBLA members; FBLA State written tests will be available in Mr. Colby's room beginning today.  If you are going to FBLA State and have an FBLA test to take, please make arrangements with Mr. Colby to take your FBLA test (or tests) beginning TODAY.

ASB election materials will be available from Mr. Colby (Business Ed hall, room 322) beginning today, March 8. To become an ASB officer, you will complete a registration form, participate in a readiness interview and then present a campaign speech to the student body. Stanwood High School needs students who are interested in serving others and continuing the positive climate that resonates in our school. Are you up to the challenge?
