GSA will meet after school today in room 13 at Church Creek.

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball this year. The meeting is on Monday, October 22nd at 2:20pm in Mr. Ward’s classroom #332.

THE FIRST DAY OF WINTER SPORTS IS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH.  WINTER SPORTS SIGN UPS ARE DONE ON LINE THRU FAMILY ACCESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH.  DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO REGISTER FOR A SPRING SPORT CAN BE PICKED UP IN THE ATHLETIC OFFICE OR CAN BE FOUND ON THE HIGH SCHOOLS ATHLETIC WEBPAGE.  YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE A SPORT THIS YEAR.  PLEASE COME TO THE ATHLETIC OFFICE WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

Attention all second period classes... It is time to show off your Halloween spirit by decorating your door in Halloween spirit by Monday October 29th. The student body will then vote on the doors during their lunches and the winner will be announced in the morning announcements on Friday November 2nd.

Stanwood High School Traffic Safety Education Program is now enrolling students for the 2nd Quarter Session beginning Tuesday, November 13, 2018.  Class ends December 18 before winter break begins.  Registration packets are available in the main SHS office, the SHS commons area and on the SHS website. 

Attention Spartan Fans:  Just a reminder that you must have your ASB card in hand with you to get into the home games for free.  You cannot use a picture on your phone.  Remember, once you leave you cannot return to the game.  These rules apply to athletes and cheerleaders as well.

Four classes tied for our 5th and FINAL slot in this quarter's Spartans Show Up! campaign. Congratulations to Scott Bates 1st period, Susan Britian's 1st period, Claudia Holum's 3rd period, and Chris Carlson's 3rd period classes! Way to show up Spartans! This concludes our 1st quarter competition but we want to encourage all Spartans to keep showing up!!!!!

Stanwood High School Traffic Safety is now enrolling students for the 2nd quarter session.  Class begins Tuesday November 13, 2:20 PM in the Old Auditorium Main SHS campus.  Registration packets are available in the main SHS office, the SHS Commons area, Lincoln Hill main office and on the SHS website.

Picture retakes are Tomorrow, Oct. 17 from 8:30 to 1:20

You can have your picture taken if you haven't had it done this year, OR need to return a picture package, OR there is a serious problem with the picture you already have. You cannot have a retake just because you don't like the one on your ASB card. Please remember to bring your picture package with you to return it.

German Club will meet tomorrow @ 8:30 am in room 743

Tomorrow Jostens’ Senior Presentation during 5th period and Senior Class photo during 6th period in the stadium.

Senior meeting 5th period.  Jostens will be here to share about graduation products.  That meeting will take place in the PAC at 12:43 p.m.  We will go to the stadium immediately after the meeting ends for the class photo.  The photo will be taken at 1:30 p.m.

Talent Show today, May 12th starting at 6 pm.  Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 with an ASB card, $7 without. 

 

 

 

Biology End of Course Exam study sessions will be held every Wednesday in Mrs. Hauenstein's room (591) from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. All students who will take the Biology EOC exam in June are invited to attend.

 

 

 

AP Testing today.  There will be no bells during testing time.

Attention students.

 

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching.  If you have library or textbooks at home that you are no longer using, please return them to the SHS library as soon as possible.  All books are due back by May 30th unless otherwise stated by your teacher.  All textbooks and library books must be returned before the school year ends.  

 

 

 

Seniors, you must have all books returned and damage/lost book fines paid before graduation!  If you have outstanding fines or missing books, you may not be able to walk at graduation.  Please check your Skyward account as well as your Destiny Library account for details.  If you have books or fines from previous school years, please check with Ms. Byrum or Mrs. McNeal in the SHS library for specific details to ensure your account is all clear for graduation.

 

 

 

Attention all students:  If you are still using the old google accounts that end with the domain: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. you may want to save your old information and transfer it to your NEW google account: @k12.scsd.ac., as these old accounts will be DELETED in July.  If you have old documents, presentations, and spreadsheets saved here, they will no longer be accessible after this summer.  If you would like instructions on how to transfer this information to your NEW google accounts, please stop by the SHS library and we will give you an instruction handout.  Save it before it gets deleted!
